Dear Friends,
Another year has passed, and with it's passing we have reached the half million dollar mark in funds raised. This has been a goal for our group for sometime. On behalf of the Board of Directors, committee members and of course, the medically fragile/technology dependent children of Southern New Jersey, I would like to thank all of our friends and supporters who have helped us achieve this wonderful goal. This goal was reached thanks to much hard work and dedication of a small group of people who share one vision, and that is to bring a little ray of hope and happiness into the lives and families of this very special group of kids here in South Jersey.
The last year has brought us many successes. The introduction of the first annual "Buffalo Bowl" proved to be extremely fun, and we raised over $4,500.00. Thanks to the efforts of an extremely dedicated committee, our second annual "Bids Fore Kids" event was able to improve upon the previous year by almost 300%, raising over $13,000.00. And last, but never least. the 2002 "Kids' Cup" was successful in raising over $50,000.00. It is our hope that the "Kids' Cup" participants will be able to connect with some of our grant recipients (their "Team Captains"), and in that way, receive some sense of just how special these kids truly are. It also continues to be our goal to find ways to give our supporters some of the wonderful sense of accomplishment we receive, as we grant our kids and their families their requests.
In the last year, we have been able to continue with supporting individual requests, as well as Program Grants. In 2004, we hope to dedicate our "Buffalo Bowl" & the "Bids Fore Kids" events to the support of our Program Grants, while focusing our "Kids' Cup" on raising monies toward the endowment of all of our Individual Grants.
As we continue to expand our programming to reach more and more medically fragile children in the southern New Jersey area, we are actively looking for people and organizations that can help improve the quantity and quality of programs and service available to these very special kids. It is with this in mind that I am setting an aggressive goal of reaching the one million dollar mark by our 20th anniversary.
YOU can help us make a difference. Please contact us to donate your time and service! Thanks a lot!
Sincerely,
Mike Rosiak Executive Director NJPPCTF, Inc.
